Dr. Benton built Academics Plus, Inc. from the ground up and has spent the past three decades improving the educational lives of students and teachers across the nation. He will use his expertise in education and leadership to inform thoughtful questions and discussion for the panelists.

Dr. Marilyn C. Benton is the owner and director of Academics Plus, Inc. She combines a background in education, her skills in leadership, and over 30 years in business to assist clients in personal and organizational development.
Dr. Todd Forgette

Dr. Forgette has been involved in educational leadership for 20 years partnering with districts and schools across five states and consulted in the U.K. educational system.
Dr. Chris Jones
School Reform
Dr. Jones graduated from Longwood University in 1994 with his master’s degree in Special Education, and in 2002 he graduated from the University of Virginia with his PhD also in Special Education.
Dr. Thomas Miller
School Leadership
A former charter school principal and state consultant, Dr. Miller’s research on the effective characteristics of charter schools prompted him to start his own elite leadership development and consulting company assisting schools in transforming their cultures and accelerating their achievement.
